Ok that was a slight exaggeration. There is no WSC bar. But there's a story.

We are excited to share that WSC's Coach Matt—Staples '23 alumnus, Swarthmore sophomore, aspiring nutrition mogul, and Coach Kuku's son—has teamed up with two classmates to launch Juvo Bar: a protein + multivitamin bar for student-athletes, busy parents, and anyone who values clean fuel.

Matt & friends started Juvo with their own savings (farewell, summer job fund) and earned startup funding through SwatTank, Swarthmore’s answer to Shark Tank. The debut flavor is peanut butter chocolate. 

Juvo Bars are currently only available at practice—$3.75 each or $28 for an 8-pack. The table will be self-serve—just leave cash or Venmo @matthewfleming2004 (cell 4512). Or just tap Coach Kuku.

And—if you happen to know someone in dining services at a school or college, or who runs a corporate wellness program, sports team, gym, beach resort, ski resort, or health food store—Matt would be thrilled for the intro. His online shop’s not live yet (final exams take priority), so local connections make a big difference.
